After all, he knows he is gay and has no desire to mate a woman. So he sets off.A chance meeting in the hotel's elevator brings him close to his fated mate, Ezra. Ezra is a somewhat mysterious tiger shifter. Obviously having problems to settle down at one place, he has traveled the world, picking up random guys to fulfill his needs. Inexplicable attraction makes Ezra to follow after Matthew and together they travel on.
Of course Matthew's father is not going to accept any defiance from his oldest son and heir and does his utmost to force Matthew to bend to his will. But... no, no, read it yourself.
It was short, but funny read with changing POV. Interesting interpretation of male mating. What "grates" a little to me, is that if the clan is so powerful and wealthy, owning companies, hotels, etc. how can it be that their heir and next Alpha knows so little about the world and has never been futher away than the closest small town?
A part of a star off, because it feels a bit unfinished.

this book is the reason i became a follower of Artemis Wolffe. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend this book to anyone. I would read any book written by this author and I would suggest any one that likes paranormal books to join in.
This is a fun and loving book, with some great sex scenes also! I loved the story of Matt and Ezra! It's always been said, you can't always help or choose who you fall in love with! This is a great book and I can't wait to read more from Artemis and Mercy!
Matthew is to be the next alpha of his pack, but he as to take a mate his father as pick for him. Matthew runs away. Where he meets Ezra his true mate. Matthew is a bear shifter and Ezra is a tiger shifter. Matthew is forced to go home and go through with his prearranged mating. Will Ezra be able to save his mate?
Ezra is too full of himself for the most part, and after a nice start, Matthew was made to be too weak, mostly. Then mpreg was thrown in just to make a second part.
But I actually liked this book pretty well.
Hot bear Matthew meets hot Tiger Ezra and it's lust/love at first sight. Which doesn't go over well with the bear clan.
I absolutely loved this story Matt and Ezra were a very loveable pair. Ezra a lone Tiger moving from place to place doing everything his way a love 'em and leave 'em type while Matt a warm kind hearted Alpha stuck in a life not of his choosing sets out looking for more and he finds it in Ezra his mate they come together and over come Matt's fathers disapproval and find a lasting love this story is a sweet read
Great story of two unlikely people meeting in an elevator, and experiencing the undeniable attraction of the true mate call. Ezra, tiger shifter, a loner and free spirit. Matt, an alpha bear, being forced into an unwanted mating. This is the first book in what looks like it could be an awesome new series. I can't wait to read more of this unlikely couple in their world of extremely rare interspecies mating. I love it when diversity is explored and there are some very nice surprises for not only the readers but for Matt & Ezra as well. I really like being kept on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next. I really enjoyed travelling on the journey with this couple. Overall a very satisfying read.
Good little story, just bbc.co a bit hard to get the feel in the first chapter but the second was going to be good.
Raised in a bear only community, Matt's father will force him into a
mating with another alpha's daughter , but one problem, Matt is 100% gay and would never be that way with a woman. So he runs and hoping to outrun his father and his father's rules. But at a hotel Matt never would have found his fated mate. With a tiger no less, totally another taboo for him
Ezra is a rear tiger from India and staying in one place is not his lifestyle, always staying at one place a least a week so no rooting down. The time fates step in he isn't to happy to find an oversize beaver ' his word's' bear that his body is craving more then the human guy he brought to his hotel room. These two will connect quickly but Matt's luck has put a speed bump in his path, his father and his prior commit to see seen to or else, his father will blackmail him to get what daddy wants...
